-
- I have an A500+ with an A530 (40 Mhz 68ec030) with 2megs Chip and
- 9 megs of Fast RAM. I have installed Kickstart 2.04 and Workbench
- 2.1 and I also run over a dozen software hacks to the system and
- have not been looking forward to ferreting out and removing the
- hacks to see if they caused this problem with MUI v3.2.
-
- But now it seems I may not have to. Two other people besides
- myself are having the same problem. I just happen to have
- AlertPatch running on my system and have copied down the
- information in the window regarding the crash.
-
- This crash occurs every time I click on a gadget that calls up a
- color window, for example the requestor background button in the
- Window section of MUIPrefs. Interestingly, the very first time I
- did this, the color window came up, but crashed when I tried to
- select a color). Here is the information:

- Installing the bugfix update solved nothing for me.
-
- BTW, I also get a 80000003 error message (a
- go-straight-to-red-blinking- window-crash-instead-of-a-requestor)
- when I click on the buttons beneath the listview in MUIPrefs.
-
-
- : I hope this problem will be fixed!
-
- I do too. This is the first time I have ever experienced a major
- bug in MUI.
-
- : Apart from that, MUI3.2 seems really powerful - and good looking
- : with a dark grey window background and the NEXT/XEN-Slider :-)
-
- Except that it still has its own ideas on how to use the color
- palette. The current group usually has a single-pixel back line
- around it, but MUI 3.2 has apparently changed this to the
- reddish-pink color in the MagicWB color scheme that I'm using. I
- can't use the predefined defaults that came with the package
- because they all use the most eye irrating color schemes (it's
- like MUI is confused about which color is what).
